Hannah Petersen

CEO & Co-Founder

Hannah spent four years in UC Davis Plant Sciences doing field research on canopy reflectance and yield component analysis — corn tassel timing, soybean pod-set signals, and how NDVI transitions map to biomass accumulation. She founded Acreweave in October 2022 after finding that the data growers needed for a reliable field-level forecast already existed in public sources, but nothing was packaging it into a per-field, weekly number in bushels per acre. Tomás Reyes

Co-Founder & Head of Data Science

Tomás spent six years building predictive yield tools at a California agricultural research institute, with a focus on corn and soybean GDD models. He co-founded Acreweave to apply that modeling work to a commercial platform. His soybean pod-count model, calibrated against Yolo County and Fresno County fields, is one of Acreweave's core accuracy differentiators.

Lin Zhao

Lead Geospatial Engineer

Lin manages the satellite data pipeline: ingesting Sentinel-2 and Landsat-8 passes, running atmospheric correction, computing VIS-NIR and SWIR indices, and registering image tiles to field boundary polygons. Previously at a precision ag remote sensing firm in Sacramento. Her work on why field boundary precision matters more than satellite resolution became one of Acreweave's most-read technical articles.

Priya Anand

Grower Success

Priya grew up on a row-crop farm in Tulare County and studied agricultural communications at Fresno State. She is the first point of contact for new growers — handling onboarding, field setup questions, and the practical "how do I read this forecast?" conversations. Her background means she can talk canopy closure and pivot to subscription logistics in the same call.
